Barabanki. Police have written a gangster case against former MLA Mukhtar Ansari. This is the second case against Mukhtar in the district. Twelve members from Mau, Ghazipur, Lucknow and Prayagraj have also been named in the gangster case. These accused have been sent to jail in the famous ambulance case. City Kotwal Suresh Pandey has written this case against Mukhtar Ansari, a native of Yusufpur in Mohammadabad of Ghazipur district and former MLA of Mau.
In this, Dr. Alka Rai, the operator of Shyam Sanjeevani Hospital and Research Center located at Baliamau Mor of Mau district, Dr. Sheshnath Rai, Rajnath Yadav of Ahiroli, Thana Sarai Lakhansi, Anand Yadav of village Sarwan, Surendra of Mangalbazar Yusufpur of Mohammadabad in Ghazipur district. This is the ambulance case: During the detention in Punjab Jail, Mukhtar Ansari used to use private ambulance UP 41 AT 7171 to go to court. This ambulance was registered in Barabanki ARTO on March 21, 2013. On March 31, 2021, when the matter came to the fore, the Kotwali Nagar police wrote a case of forgery on Dr. Alka Rai, the operator of Mau’s Shyam Sanjeevani Hospital, two days later. Actually, this ambulance was registered at the address of house number 56 of Mohalla Rafinagar of Barabanki Kotwali Nagar. On verification this address itself was found to be incorrect. Not only this, this ambulance was not even fitness since July 31, 2017, in such a situation, this ambulance was operating in Punjab crossing the state border. Which was brought back by CO Naveen Singh from Punjab on April 5, 2021.
Sequential action: The police wrote the first case of forgery on April 2, 2021 and after about three months, filed a charge sheet against all the accused in the court on July 04, 2021. On the report of the police, the DM gave approval on the gang chart on 24 March 2022 and on 25 March the police wrote the gangster’s case.
