After getting the majority of the BJP in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, there is an atmosphere of celebration among the supporters in the entire state. But UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya has to face defeat from Sirathu seat. Because of this, some disappointment is definitely being seen somewhere. Samajwadi Party candidate Pallavi Patel has won from Sirathu seat. BJP is getting victory in close to 270 seats in UP. In this way, the party is once again forming the government in Uttar Pradesh.
The thing to note here is that this defeat can prove to be very harmful for him, because the question may arise whether he is made a part of the cabinet in the UP government or not. Keshav Prasad Maurya has not been able to reach the assembly even in the storm of BJP going on in UP. However, if the government of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wants to include him in the cabinet, then for this he can be given entry by making him an MLC. But the final decision on this is going to be of BJP. BJP is forming the government for the second time in Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, the Samajwadi Party has come second in the election.
According to the Election Commission data, Keshav Prasad Morch got 98,941 votes and the vote share was 43.28 percent. At the same time, Pallavi Patel of SP, who won from Sirathu seat, got 1,06,278 votes. If we talk about the vote percentage, then he got the support of 46.49 percent of the people of Sirathu. Munsab Ali of Bahujan Samaj Party was at number three, who got 10,073 votes and the vote share was 4.41 percent. Talking about the political equation of Sirathu, then the Kurmi vote was seen going in favor of SP, which unilaterally benefited Pallavi Patel. Because of this Maurya has to face defeat.
At the same time, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has won the Gorakhpur city seat by a huge margin of 1 lakh 2 thousand votes. This is the second major victory in UP by a margin of over 1 lakh votes. Earlier, BJP MLA Pankaj Singh has won from Noida Assembly seat of Gautam Budh Nagar district by one lakh 79 thousand votes. This is the biggest victory of any candidate in the assembly elections. Yogi has won the Gorakhpur city assembly seat by a margin of 1,02,000 votes. He has contested the assembly elections for the first time. Yogi defeated Subhavati Upendra Dutt Shukla of SP. Chandrashekhar of Azad Samaj Party was not even in the competition.
