Youth used to make provocative posts against Hindu gods and goddesses in Bijnor, sent to jail

Bijnor. Outrage spread in Bijnor after posting objectionable posts against Hindu gods and goddesses on Facebook. The police have arrested the accused after registering a case. An objectionable and obscene comment was made on a Facebook ID regarding the festival of Mahashivratri. There was also outrage among the local people regarding this. When the complaint and the post went viral, it was investigated on the orders of the SP, then the Facebook ID was found to be of Kapil Kumar Sagar’s son Hemchand resident of village Jalalpur police station Badhapur Bijnor. In this regard, a case has been registered against Kapil for hurting religious sentiments, under sections of IT Act and defamation. Police station in-charge Anuj Tomar told that the accused has been arrested.
