Lucknow. In the first phase of the election campaign of Uttar Pradesh, the leaders have given full efforts. In the field of politics, such opportunities are rarely seen when the politicians of two rival parties come face to face in public, but also show full respect to each other, but this happened in Bulandshahr on Thursday. The three leaders greeted each other when Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s convoy came on the way to the convoy of SP President Akhilesh Yadav and RLD President Jayant Singh. During this, the workers of both the parties stopped raising slogans against the opposition party. Along with the leaders, the warmth of the workers was also seen from both the sides.

In fact, Congress’ Uttar Pradesh in-charge Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also reached Bulandshahr on Thursday for election campaign. On this day Akhilesh Yadav and Jayant Chaudhary had many election programs in Bulandshahr itself. Priyanka Vadra’s convoy was leaving the main market from Anupshahr Adda Tiraha in Jahangirabad at around 6.30 pm. Priyanka was riding in her open roof car. At the same time, the Samajwadi chariot of Akhilesh Yadav and Jayant Chaudhary reached the crossroads from Aurangabad. At that time Akhilesh-Jayant was inside the Samajwadi chariot. Here, when Priyanka Vadra saw the chariot of both, she shook hands. Seeing this, Akhilesh and Jayant Chaudhary also came on top of their chariot and both the leaders greeted Priyanka with folded hands. During this, Priyanka kept smiling continuously looking at Akhilesh-Jayant and also kept on shaking hands. This sequence continued for about a minute. After this, the socialist chariot of Akhilesh-Jayant moved forward.
This warmth, seen in Bulandshahr, soon covered the internet media as well. Shortly after the two leaders moved forward, Akhilesh Yadav also shared the picture of this meeting on his Twitter account. Wrote, a prayer and salute, in the name of Tehzeeb…. Priyanka Vadra also did not delay in replying and she wrote in response… our bhi aapko ram ram. Along with this, Priyanka also shared a seven-second video in which both the leaders of the alliance and they were shaking hands, joining hands when they came face to face.
During the election campaign, this video of the meeting of the three leaders went viral on sight. This incident also becomes important because the talks of coordination between the two parties are in full swing even without any alliance. Indications of this were seen on the same day when Congress refrained from fielding candidates against Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav from Mainpuri’s Karhal seat and Shivpal Singh Yadav, SP-PSP alliance’s candidate from Jaswantnagar seat in Etawah. By doing this, the Congress has given a clear indication of joining hands with the SP against the BJP in future.
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has announced that the party will contest all the 403 seats in the state. It is another matter that the Congress has now decided not to field candidates against the SP chief and his uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav. As soon as the election started, the speculations of an alliance between the Congress and the SP were dismissed by Akhilesh, saying that the strike rate of big parties is bad. He was referring to the alliance of SP with Congress in 2017.
The main goal of both SP and Congress is to defeat the BJP. Recently, in response to a question, Priyanka had said that after the assembly elections, if the SP needs to support to form the government, then it will be considered. Congress’s decision not to field candidates from Karhal and Jaswantnagar seats is being seen in this context.
