Lucknow. The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to keep all educational institutions closed till January 30, in view of the threat of Omicron along with the rapid spread of the third wave of global pandemic coronavirus infection.
All educational (primary to university) institutions in Uttar Pradesh will now remain closed till January 30. The government had earlier closed primary, basic and secondary schools till January 14. After this, the degree college and university were closed till January 22. Now it has been extended till 30 January. Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi has issued its order. The closure of schools till January 30 has been extended by the government by issuing an order on Saturday. The conduct of online classes already running will not be affected by this. In a letter issued by Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Kumar Awasthi on behalf of the government, information has been shared about extending the previously issued holiday till January 23 for the next one week to January 30. According to the letter, an appeal has been made to ensure compliance by giving information to all the officers including the Divisional Commissioner, Police Commissioner, Medical Officer and District Magistrate.
Classes will run online: Information about continuing online classes during the Corona transition period has been given in the letter. It has been told that after due deliberation, it has been decided that the schools will remain closed till January 30, but in view of the classes being conducted online, they have been kept out of this order. In this context, online classes will continue to be conducted as before.
