Gorakhpur. One crore property of Vijay Pratap, accused in the fake arms license case, will be confiscated. The District Magistrate has issued an order in this regard. According to the order, five vehicles of Vijay Pratap, who were detained in the gangster, will be taken into custody by the Cantt Police. Apart from this, the police has also sent a report to the District Magistrate to confiscate other properties worth Rs 7 crore of Vijay Pratap. The assessment of which is underway.
On August 14, 2019, the case of fake arms license came to the fore. After the arrest of Tanveer of Gorakhnath area, it was found that the license of arms was made on a large scale in Gorakhpur. In which the Cantt police registered a case on the complaint of the then Aslaha Babu Ram Singh and arrested 15 people and sent them to jail. In the investigation, along with including the names of the then Aslaha Babu Ram Singh, former Aslaha Babu Ashok Gupta, retired Babu Vijay Pratap Srivastava, contract worker Ajay Pratap Giri in the trial, the police arrested him and sent him to jail. After investigation, the Cantt police, originally from PPganj area, had property dealers Vijay Pratap, Vikas Tiwari, Tanveer, Shamsher Alam, Pranay Pratap Singh, Shamshad, Vijay Pratap Srivastava, Azam Lari, Shahid Ali, Asfaq Ahmed, Vivek Madheshia, Ravi Chargesheet was filed in the court against Pratap Pandey, Ram Singh, Ashok Gupta and Ajay Pratap Giri. The investigation of the matter is still going on.
Cantt police registered a gangster case against Vijay Pratap, Vikas Tiwari, Tanveer, Shamsher Alam, Pranay Pratap Singh, Shamshad, Azam Lari, Shahid Ali, Asfaq Ahmed, Vivek Madheshia, Ravi Pratap Pandey and Ajay Pratap Giri a year ago. In this case, the Thanedar had sent a report to the District Magistrate to confiscate the property of Vijay Pratap.
On the orders of the government, the jail administration has banned the meeting of the prisoners. On the initiative of the Senior Jail Superintendent, the intercom was done by the relatives who came to meet the prisoners. A prisoner met Intercom and talked to his family members. On Wednesday, 10 prisoners were talked about with this system.
