Lucknow. In view of the increasing pace of corona infection, the government has become more alert. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to keep all schools up to class 10th closed till Makar Sankranti i.e. January 14. Along with this, instructions have also been given to increase the night curfew by two hours. Now night curfew will be effective from January 6 from 10 pm to 6 am. Apart from this, in districts where active cases of corona infection will be more than one thousand, gyms, spas, cinema halls, banquet halls, restaurants and other public places will be operated with 50 percent capacity. Now not more than 100 people will be able to participate in marriage ceremonies and other events in closed places at a time. The presence of more than 50 percent of the total capacity of the ground will be allowed in the open space.
The Chief Minister held a high-level meeting on Tuesday night to prevent the increasing cases of corona infection and gave many strict instructions. In the last 24 hours, a total of 992 new corona infected have been confirmed in the examination of one lakh 66 thousand 33 samples. In the same period, 77 people have recovered after treatment. The total number of active corona cases in the state is 3173. The Chief Minister has said that people should be made aware to wear masks, get vaccinated and follow physical distance. He directed that all government and private schools up to class 10th should declare a holiday till Makar Sankranti. His vaccination will continue during this period.
At present, the number of active Kovid cases in any district of the state is not more than one thousand. The government has issued instructions for extra vigilance in case there are more than one thousand cases in any district. The two-hour increase in night curfew will be effective from January 6. In view of the changing circumstances of Kovid, all necessary steps should be taken in the public interest on the basis of consultation with the Health Expert Advisory Panel constituted at the state level. Do not cause unnecessary panic among people. Correct and proper information should be given to them. Experts believe that this variant is much less harmful than the earlier variant. It is not a major threat to a healthy and normal person who has been vaccinated.

Also given instructions
- Monitoring Committee and Integrated Kovid Command Center should be fully activated.
- Monitoring committees should be functional in villages under the leadership of Pradhan and in urban wards under the leadership of councilors.
- People without vaccination should be identified by door-to-door contact. Their list should be given to the district administration.
- Medicine kits should be made available to the people as per the need. The availability of life saving drugs useful in the treatment of Kovid should be ensured.
- Integrated Kovid Command and Control Center established in all the districts of the state should be kept active round the clock. Have regular meetings.
- A panel of specialist doctors was present at the Kovid Command Center. Teleconsultation facility should be given to the people.
- Wide publicity should be given to this by making the help number public. People can contact there immediately on any need.
- Ambulances should be in active mode round the clock. Better use of public address system. People should be contacted through CM helpline.
