Kannauj. The process of GST intelligence at the ancestral residence of compound businessman Piyush Jain ended late on Tuesday night. The team took the sandalwood oil samples recovered from their house and the necessary documents with them. The next morning, both the sons of the businessman locked the house and went to the relatives.
The raids by the GST team running at Piyush Jain, a resident of Mohalla Chhippatti in Kannauj, ended on the fifth day i.e. on Tuesday. After sending a cash bank of 19 crores found from home in the afternoon and 23 kg of gold recovered in the evening to Lucknow, the team got involved in the paperwork. This action lasted till two o’clock in the night. After this the team took samples of sandalwood oil recovered from the house, which were carried in eight boxes. At the same time, the documents found from the house were kept in four bags. Who took the car and left. Additional director of GST Intelligence Zakir Hussain said that 19 crore cash was found from the house. Which he handed over to SBI Bank. Told that this is the biggest raid ever. He also told that the sample will be taken to the lab in Delhi. Before leaving the house, the team members did not ask for the locks, the gates whose locks were broken, those gates were locked in the presence of their son. Along with this, the seal in the doors was torn and thrown. In the 23 kg of gold recovered from the businessman’s house, 12 bricks were foreign. Among them were the marking of Dubai and Swiss. It is being told that the team was working on the operation for two months.
