Lucknow. For digital empowerment of youth, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch free tablet and smart phone distribution scheme to them on Saturday. This is a big bet of the Yogi Adityanath government of UP to engage the youth in the assembly elections, which will start in the form of a grand celebration on the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This gift of the government will be presented to one lakh students from all the districts of the state in the distribution function to be held at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in the capital Lucknow.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also launch Digi Shakti Portal and Digi Shakti Adhyayan App on this occasion. Digi Shakti Adhyayan App is installed in all the smart phones and tablets given to the youth through which learning material will be made available to them. Information about employment-oriented schemes will also be given by the government through boot logo and wall paper. For this, the government is going to contract with IT company Infosys. 3900 programs related to education and employment of Infosys will be available free of cost to the youth.
In the first phase of the free tablet and smart phone distribution scheme, smart phones and tablets will be distributed to the youth of the state, who are studying in the final year, in the function to be held in the capital Lucknow on Saturday. After this, programs will be organized and distributed at the local level in the districts.
Launch of tablet distribution under Abhyudaya Yojana today: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also launch tablet distribution to students registered under Abhyudaya Yojana on Saturday. Yogi government has started Abhyudaya Yojana to provide free coaching for competitive examinations to the students.
