Meerut: Within a year, the second case of making roti by spitting has come to light. In an engagement ceremony held in Kankarkheda area of Meerut, a young man was serving people who came to the ceremony by spitting on roti. A child made a video of it. After the child showed the video to the family members, the family members called the accused and handed him over to the police.
Kankarkheda police is investigating the matter. The accused has been taken into police custody. The engagement ceremony was held on Thursday in Laxmi Nagar located on Sardhana Road. In the ceremony, a young man was making roti on the tandoor. It is alleged that this young man was spitting on him while making roti. Meanwhile, a child who came to the ceremony made a video of it.
The child informed the family about the video on Friday. The family members saw the video and called the contractor and asked him to call the accused. When both the accused youth and the contractor reached the spot, the relatives called the police after giving information. The police took the accused youth to the police station. Kankarkheda Inspector Subodh Kumar Saxena says that Tahrir has been received. Strict action will be taken against the accused.
A similar case was reported in February as well. Then some organizations created a ruckus when the video went viral. Then the police took the accused into custody and sent him to jail. Later action was also taken under Rasuka. Now the second case has come from Kankarkheda in Meerut.
