Lucknow. The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh, being very serious about the new variant of corona virus infection, is also engaged in strengthening the self-confidence of the people. State Medical Education Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna clearly said that there is no need to be afraid of Omicron. Along with giving the details of tax collection in the state and this financial year, Khanna said that at present, Kovid-19 is under control in Uttar Pradesh. He said that there is no need to panic in relation to the new virus Omicron.
The income of Uttar Pradesh is continuously increasing. 2058 crore more revenue has been received in November 2021 than in November 2020. The income of the Transport Department has also increased due to Diwali in the month of November. Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna told reporters in his office room located at Vidhan Bhavan that in the month of November of the financial year 2021-22, a revenue of Rs 12962.20 crore has been received against the target of Rs 15389.83 crore. This is 84.20 percent of the target set. 10903.87 crore was received in the month of November last year. In this way, the state has got a total revenue of more than 2058.33 crore.
He said that good growth has been seen in GST, VAT, Excise and Transport items. At the same time, there has been a slight decline in the revenue of Stamps and Registration and Geology and Mining. A total of Rs 4583.22 crore has been earned under GST in the month of November. In November last year, only Rs 3712.69 crore was received from GST. In November this year, Rs 2651.27 crore has been received while in November last year Rs 2147.54 crore was received.
The Stamp and Registration Department has received Rs 1620.65 crore in the month of November. In November last year, there was an income of Rs 1628 crore. In transport, Rs 764.60 crore has been received in the month of November as against Rs 697.71 crore in the previous year. Under Geology and Mining, the government has earned Rs 240.89 crore in the month of November, compared to Rs 253.15 crore in the same month last year.
The Finance Minister said that in the current financial year under the main tax revenue, an income of Rs 90411.55 crore has been made against the target of Rs 119212.08 crore till November. This is 75.8 percent of the target. Against the total target of Rs 65632.70 crore, Rs 50944.12 crore has been achieved till November in GST and VAT. This is 77.60 percent of the target.
He said that till November of the current financial year, against the target of Rs 26916.00 crore, Rs 21896.08 crore has been achieved under excise. 81.30 percent of the target set till November. Against the target of Rs.16785.00 crore, Rs.12784.85 crore has been received under the head of stamp and registration. In the financial year 2021-22, 4445.68 crores have been received against the target of Rs 6194.38 crores in the financial year 2021-22.
