Kanpur. The doctor killed the teacher’s wife, son and daughter in Divinity Apartment located in Indira Nagar of Kalyanpur area. After absconding, he himself sent a message to his brother on mobile in the evening and asked him to inform the police about the incident. When the door was broken in the presence of the police, the bodies were found lying in different rooms. Police Commissioner, DCP West and other officers arrived with the forensic team. A 10-page letter has been found from the spot in which the accused has written about committing the crime due to depression.
Dr. Sushil Kumar, who lives in the fifth floor of the apartment, hails from Osru, Rae Bareli and is the Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine, Rama Medical College, Mandhana. His 50-year-old wife Chandraprabha was a primary school teacher in Shivrajpur. The 21-year-old son Shikhar was preparing for engineering from the Institute of Delhi. 16-year-old daughter Khushi was a high school student from Woodbine School. On Friday evening, Sushil strangled his wife, son and daughter Khushi to death after being hit on the head with a hammer. After the message on mobile, elder brother Dr. Sunil posted in Rura PSC of Kanpur countryside reached the spot. Forensic team is collecting evidence from the spot. The search dog came down the stairs and stopped after going down to the lawn. After roaming here for some time, went back upstairs.
