Saharanpur. The misdeeds of criminals are increasing in Saharanpur district too. In Nanauta here on Sunday, masked armed bike-riding miscreants shot a cement trader sitting at the shop in broad daylight. The businessman was taken to the CHC in a critical condition by the people. From where the district hospital was referred after first aid, the police reached the spot and inquired about the incident and started searching for the miscreants. Due to the incidents in the area, there is resentment among the people.
It is said that 24-year-old Abhishek son Vijaypal, resident of village Umarpur in Thana Bhawan area of district Shamli, has a cement shop near Nanauta Deoband Road Block Office. On Sunday also he was sitting in his shop after opening the shop as usual. Around 12:45 pm some masked miscreants came on 5-6 bikes. In which four-five miscreants had sharp weapons in their hands. Whereas two miscreants riding a bike fired at the businessman with a pistol in which one bullet hit him in the head and one bullet on the hip. Panic spread among the people seeing the bullets fired.
After carrying out the miscreant incident, the people fled towards Deoband, immediately the businessman was taken to Nanauta CHC in critical condition, from where after first aid he was referred to the district hospital, meanwhile relatives also reached the spot. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started searching for the miscreants after taking information about the incident. The incident is said to be Ranjan.
