About 30 thousand crore rupees will be spent in the construction of Jewar Airport. About 175 aircraft will be able to stand here simultaneously. The construction work will be done in four phases. After the completion of the first phase, the first flight is targeted to start in September 2024. This will also reduce the air traffic load of Delhi airport significantly. According to the Ministry of Aviation, about 35 thousand passengers will shift daily from Delhi to Noida Airport. The distance from Delhi airport to Jewar is about 70 km, while the distance from Hindon to Delhi airport is about 65 km. Jewar Airport will be built on 5845 hectares of land. However, in the first phase, it will be constructed on 1334 hectares of land. In the first phase, two passenger terminals and two runways will be built. Later, a total of five runways will be built here. As air traffic increases, more runways can be built.
