Lucknow. President Ram Nath Kovind has reached Lucknow on Thursday on a four-day visit to Uttar Pradesh. Governor Anandiben Patel along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath received and welcomed President Ram Nath Kovind at Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, Amausi.
The President reached Raj Bhavan directly from the airport. President Ram Nath Kovind reached Raj Bhavan with the entire family. He first paid floral tributes at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Raj Bhavan. President Ram Nath Kovind will be on a four-day visit to Uttar Pradesh from Thursday. He will visit Gorakhpur and Ayodhya along with Lucknow. The President of the country is on his second visit to Uttar Pradesh in two months. Earlier, he had a five-day visit to Kanpur, Kanpur Dehat and Lucknow in June. President Ram Nath Kovind has programs in three cities during his four-day visit to Uttar Pradesh. Along with Lucknow, he also has programs in Gorakhpur and Ayodhya. During this, he will stay in the program for two days in Lucknow. His overnight stay will remain in Lucknow.
He will attend the initiation ceremony of Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Central University in Lucknow on Thursday evening as the chief guest. President Ram Nath Kovind will give gold medals to seven meritorious students at the initiation ceremony of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Central University. Along with this, he will confer an honorary doctorate in science to social worker and engineer Sonam Wangchuk. In the ceremony to be held in the presence of special guest Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, 132 meritorious people will get gold medals. The President will give gold medals to only seven out of 132 meritorious people. Apart from Bhanu Pratap, Priyanka Gautam of graduation, Shubham Mishra and Pooja Meena of masters, Sanya and Niharika of MPhil, Anju Rawat will get RD Sonkar gold medal in the hands of the President, about which there is enthusiasm among the students. Along with this, social worker and engineer Sonam Wangchuk will also be given an honorary doctorate degree in science. President Ram Nath Kovind will garland the statue of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar at 5:00 pm. After this, the ceremony will begin with an academic procession at Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Bajpayee Prekshagraha. After this, the President will address the ceremony by giving medals to the meritorious. Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee will have to come an hour before the ceremony to be held in the auditorium. Students and guests attending the event will have to bring the RTPCR test report. The President’s address here will be from 5:40 pm. After this he will reach Raj Bhavan at 6:15 am.
Program in UP Sainik School on Friday
President Ram Nath Kovind will attend the 75th anniversary program of Param Vir Chakra winner Captain Manoj Pandey at Sainik School Sarojini Nagar on Friday at 10:50 am. Today, President Ram Nath Kovind will have a 60-minute program at Captain Manoj Pandey UP Sainik School. The President will lay the foundation stone for the construction of a hostel for girls here, along with Captain Manoj Pandey will release the postal stamp on the 75th birth anniversary of UP Sainik School. The President will inaugurate the modern auditorium of the school with a capacity of one thousand.
The students and the student cadets will present a guard of honor to the President. Children of Sainik School will present a cultural program here. The President will review the documentary based on the journey of this first Sainik School of the country from the year 1960 till now. After this, there will be an address by Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

President Ram Nath Kovind will attend the Diamond Jubilee Year Celebrations at Captain Manoj Pandey UP Sainik School on August 27. Recently, the Supreme Court has also given instructions for the entry of girls in NDA. After this move of the Supreme Court, the arrival of the President has doubled the happiness of the girl students of Sainik School. 26th initiation ceremony of SGPGI in Lucknow
President Ram Nath Kovind will also attend the 26th convocation of Sanjay Gandhi PGI in Lucknow on Friday. Here too, his program of about one hour will be held from five to six in the evening. The degree will be awarded to the students at the ceremony. In addition, three Excellence Awards will be given. Prof. SR Nayak Award for Out Standing Investigator, Prof. SS Agarwal for Excellence Research Award and Prof. RK Sharma Best DM Student Award will also be given on the occasion. These names will be announced during the ceremony itself. The Resident Doctors Association said that following the protocol, the degree should be obtained from the hands of the President or the Governor. There was no rehearsal for awarding the degree. It was told that the degree would be distributed later. He said that even if students are given collective degrees, a photo session should be conducted with the President.
Foundation stone of AYUSH University to be laid on 28 in Gorakhpur
On the third day of the Uttar Pradesh tour, President Ram Nath Kovind will visit Gorakhpur on August 28. Here he has the program to lay the foundation stone of AYUSH University and inaugurate the hospital building in Gorakshanath University.
President will visit Ramlala on August 29
The President will return to Lucknow in the evening after the Gorakhpur program on 28th. After this, 29 August – will leave from Charbagh station in Lucknow at 9 in the morning for Ayodhya by presidential train. His arrival in Ayodhya will be at 11.30. Here he has a program of darshan-worship in Ramlala and Hanuman Garhi. After this he will return to Lucknow by Presidential train.
There will not be a single train between Lucknow and Ayodhya for six hours
On August 29, due to the operation of the Presidential train, the railways will stop the operation of all trains from Lucknow to Ayodhya for six hours. The President will go from Lucknow to Ayodhya at 9 am. During this, the routes of many important trains will be changed.
Visit to Uttar Pradesh for the second time in two months
President Ram Nath Kovind will be on a four-day tour of three cities in Uttar Pradesh from today. This is his second visit to Uttar Pradesh in two months. Earlier, President Ram Nath Kovind was on a tour of Kanpur, Kanpur Dehat and Lucknow from 25 to 29 June. He will also visit Uttar Pradesh for the second time by presidential train.
