Guwahati: Bollywood was in mourning as an actor was found dead in Assam recently. The actor’s body was found on Sunday evening. He has been identified as Rohit Basfor. Rohit is known for the famous Hindi series ‘Family Man 3’. According to his family members, Rohit had come to his home in Guwahati from Mumbai a month ago. Rohit Bachfor had gone for a walk with some friends on Sunday.
Family accused friends of murder
The actor left his house in Barsapara at around 12.30 pm. The family had lost contact with Rohit since afternoon. At night, a friend called the family and told them that Rohit had met with an accident. But when the family went to see, Rohit was lying dead in a private hospital. It is being told that SDRF recovered Rohit’s body at night and sent it to the hospital. Meanwhile, the family alleged that the four friends had murdered Rohit after planning it completely. According to the complaint of the family, a week ago, Rohit had a fight with his three friends over parking. Then the three friends threatened to kill Rohit.
Rohit had gone for a walk with these three friends whose names are Ranjit Basfar, Ashok Basfar and Dharam Basfar. The family has also lodged a complaint against the three friends including the owner of the gymnastics center. Because the owner of the center Amardeep had called Rohit for a walk. Meanwhile, Rohit’s post-mortem was conducted in the mortuary of GMCH on Monday.
Talking about the incident, the family said, ‘On Saturday, Amardeep sir called my son, he was called and killed. After his death, his phone was switched off. Neither bike, nor money bag and he was killed and thrown into the river where his body was found’.
