Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) on the occasion of Labor Day. Famous artists from Bollywood to South participated in the Waves Summit. In the summit, the PM talked about establishing India’s media, entertainment and digital creativity at the global level. What is WAVES SUMMIT 2025?
Waves Summit 2025 started today at Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai. This summit will run for 4 days. In this, artists, startups, industrialists from all over the world are being brought together in which thousands of creators, companies and startups from more than 90 countries will join it. That is why the tagline of Waves 2025 is, ‘Connecting Creators, Connecting Countries’.
The aim of Waves Summit 2025 is to establish India as a global power with creativity and digital content. Information will be given about fields like broadcasting, film, digital media, infotainment. PM Modi talked about creativity economy in this summit and said that India is becoming a global hub of film production, digital content, fashion, music.
PM Modi announced Waves Award
PM Modi has made a big announcement while addressing the summit in front of the giants of Indian cinema. He said, ‘Many beautiful waves are yet to come in Waves, Waves Awards are also going to be launched in it which will be the most prestigious awards in the world of art and creativity. Friends, India has many great stories and golden history for content creation which will help the creators a lot in this’.
Waves Summit 2025 will run for four days, which started today. From Bollywood stars to South’s veteran stars and film makers participated in it. Stars like Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, SS Rajamouli, Mohanlal, Rajinikanth, Mithun Chakraborty, Hema Malini, Chiranjeevi, Deepika Padukone, Bobby Deol, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan attended the summit.
