Lucknow. In order to pay respect to the late Kalyan Singh, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and former Governor of Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh, the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has taken another step. After naming major roads in six districts, now the government is also doing other establishments of the state government in the name of Kalyan Singh.
The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has taken another big decision in honor of former Chief Minister Late Kalyan Singh, who is known for his ideals and values along with firmness and transparency in Indian politics. Lucknow’s world class cancer institute will now be known as Kalyan Singh Cancer Institute. In Lucknow, this institute was used only as a Kovid hospital. Additional Chief Secretary Information Navneet Sehgal told that the Chief Minister has taken this decision.
The Yogi Adityanath government has also renamed the Government Medical College in Bulandshahr as Kalyan Singh Government Medical College. Kalyan Singh was cremated at Narora in Bulandshahr. Even before this, the Yogi Adityanath government had announced to name major roads in six districts in the name of Kalyan Singh, one of the few leaders who practiced ideals and values politics in the country.
Among them is the name of the road leading to the Ramlala temple in Ayodhya. Its proposal is also being prepared on the instructions of Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya. Along with the capital Lucknow, one road each in Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Aligarh, Etah and Bulandshahr will now be named after Kalyan Singh. Along with this, the road leading to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya will be named Kalyan Singh Marg.
