On Wednesday, a wedding ceremony in Selpura-Bamnola village of Bijnor turned into a stampede when a swarm of bees attacked the pandal. As soon as the wedding party from Gangoda Jat village of Haldaur police station area sat down to eat, the bees suddenly attacked.
It was told that someone threw a stone at a beehive on a nearby tree. This angered the bees and targeted the family members and the baraatis who had come to the wedding. The people who were eating left their plates and started running here and there to save their lives. Many people hid in the nearby houses, while some ran towards the forest.
