UP. A one-week-old baby was buried alive on Sunday afternoon in the crematorium located near Renusagar Mor of the local police station area of Sonbhadra district. Hearing the cries of the baby, a female laborer and other people working nearby, when they reached there, the middle-aged fled from there. The baby was taken out of the grave. The police who reached there has admitted the infant to the hospital.
According to Anpara police, on hearing the cry of an infant from the cremation ground located at Renusagar turn, Sunita Devi, a female laborer working nearby, reached there. There he saw that a middle-aged man was digging a small grave and burying something in it. Meanwhile, when the middle-aged’s eyes fell on Sunita, he ran away from there.
When Sunita went to the grave, she saw an infant (boy) buried halfway in the soil, crying. Sunita immediately took him out. Cleaned him and fed him on his lap and made him silent. Meanwhile, after getting information about the matter, a large number of people gathered there. Some of them informed the police.
Anpara police station in-charge Vijay Pratap Singh, who reached the spot, immediately rushed the infant to the hospital. He said that the search is on for the middle-aged on the basis of the people’s description. According to doctors, the age of the baby is around a week.
