Uttar Pradesh. In Bareilly’s Purana city, five bike-borne assailants attacked the former Vice President of BJP Minority Morcha and shot him. The injured BJP leader has been admitted to the district hospital. A case has been registered in the police station Baradari. The accused had threatened to kill him and the Chief Minister of the state in the past.
Sharik, a resident of Baradari Rohli Tola, is a former Vice President of BJP. Sharik’s wife Fiza told that Sharik keeps getting threats every day. Several complaints have been made on his behalf to senior police officers. On Sunday evening, Sharik had brought medicine from his and his mother Shahnaz’s Gautia. After which, at the behest of mother and wife, Sharik had taken both of them to the Dargah’s dargah by scooty to Bukhar Shah Mian’s Dargah. Where Shahnaz and Fiza went inside the dargah.
Sharik was outside and suddenly a miscreant opened fire. The bullet went out touching his right hand. There Sharik fell on the ground. After which the people present nearby took him to the hospital. According to Fiza, the five accused were on two bikes. Among the accused, Madina Shah resident Kashif and his brother Nadeem have been recognized by Fiza. Against whom a complaint has been lodged at Baradari police station.
