Lucknow. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 12th examination has also been canceled. Now the Intermediate Examination of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UP Board) is also expected to be canceled. Because, the decision of the CBSE exam has been decided under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will soon take a decision in this regard by holding a meeting. By the way, in the month of May itself, the UP Board has made preparations to promote the intermediate candidates. On May 22, the secretary of the UP Board had asked all the colleges for the marks of class 12 preboard and 11 half yearly and annual examination, by May 28, most of the schools have sent the details of the marks of the students.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the Prime Minister has decided to cancel the CBSE’s 12th board examination in view of the Kovid transition. For this, he thanked the Prime Minister on behalf of all the students and parents. CM Yogi said that this decision is an important step towards the health security of students across the country. Expressing gratitude for the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma said that the future and health of children have always been the first priority for him. In view of the circumstances of the Corona period, this decision taken in the interest of children will provide relief not only to the children but also to their parents.
Deputy Chief Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma said that the Central and State Governments are taking all possible steps to protect their citizens from the Corona pandemic. Today’s decision is a step taken in the same direction. The government of Uttar Pradesh has already decided to promote the students by canceling the examinations from class 6 to class 11. After the decision taken by the Prime Minister regarding the CBSE Class 12 examination, the decision will be taken soon after holding a meeting with the Chief Minister regarding the Class 12 examination of the State Board of Secondary Education. It is to be known that the students of UP Board High School examinations have already been canceled and the students have been promoted to class 11th. The promotion of 29.9 lakh high school students has been approved. Now 26.10 lakh students of intermediate can be given the gift of promotion soon.
CBSE and UP Board’s syllabus almost the same: CBSE first decided that there will be no high school examination this year, candidates will be promoted to the next class. Now the Inter exam has also been cancelled. The syllabus of CBSE and UP Board is almost the same but, there is a difference in reporting the examinations of both. Apart from monthly test in CBSE, complete record of half yearly and annual examination is online. The central board can easily promote the students in the high school on the basis of their performance. At the same time, the records of class 9th half yearly and annual examination were not sent to the board headquarters in the UP Board. This time the school level examination was conducted in February before the pre board i.e. high school and inter examination, but its record was not with the board.
UP Board has already demanded records from the college : At the same time, on May 22, Board Secretary Divyakant Shukla asked for the record of class 12 preboard examination held in February. The marks and marks obtained for the half yearly and annual examination of class 11th of all institutional and individual students of Inter and half yearly marks of class 11th of the candidates of Agriculture Part I were sought. The Board Secretary had directed the District School Inspectors to upload the marks on the website by the evening of May 28, this work has been completed. It is possible that on the lines of CBSE, the UP Board may also cancel the 12th examination and promote the candidates.
Mayawati welcomed: BSP supremo Mayawati has also welcomed the cancellation of CBSE board’s intermediate examinations. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi by tweeting. Mayawati wrote in her tweet- BSP welcomes the decision taken by the central government to cancel CBSE’s 12th examination, keeping in mind the health and safety of children and girls due to the corona epidemic in the country, because students and parents Along with etc., this was also the need of the hour.
