Lucknow. In Uttar Pradesh, the rate of infection has been steadily decreasing due to the efforts of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who took the second strain of the global pandemic Corona virus infection as a major challenge. Now 64 districts of the state have become free from Corona Curfew.
With the reduction of corona virus infection, the state government has also given relief in the Corona curfew implemented from May 1. Relief was announced on May 30 in the Corona curfew from June 1 in the state. At that time only 55 districts of the state were eligible for this relief, but on May 31, due to less than 600 active cases in six more districts, they were also excluded from the ban of Corona Curfew.
On Tuesday, due to less than 600 active cases in three more districts, they have also been exempted from Corona curfew. After the Health Department’s report on Tuesday, the active cases in Jaunpur, Lakhimpur Kheri and Ghazipur of the state have come down to 600. Now these districts will get relief from Corona Curfew from Wednesday morning.
The government has decided to exclude three districts from the purview of Corona Curfew when the active corona is less than 600. With this, now the districts getting relief from Corona Curfew have become 64. Corona curfew will now be applicable in only 11 districts including Lucknow in the state. In some of these districts, if the active cases are less than 600 by Wednesday, then they will also get relief from the Corona Curfew.
