The protest of Left organizations is going on at Mandi House demanding the release of the criminals of Red Fort and Delhi violence. These people are preparing to travel from Mandi House to Parliament, but the Delhi Police has denied any kind of protests or marches citing Section 144 and is continuously appealing for evacuation from here. Tight security arrangements have been made. In view of the march, all roads leading to Mandi House and Parliament House Jantar-Mantar were closed from the barricade, due to which there is a problem of jam. On the upcoming February 6, the National Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union has said that he will not do the chakka jam in Delhi-NCR. Also on the February 6 Chakka Jam, Rakesh Tikait said that Delhi-NCR will not have anything like this. He has said that farmers will close the road at their respective places and will also submit a memorandum to the administration.
Meanwhile, Delhi Police has announced the reward on Deep Sidhu, Jugraj Singh, Gurjant Singh, Gurjant Singh, Jagbir Singh, Buta Singh, Sukhdev Singh and Iqbal Singh, charged in the Red Fort violence on 26 January. Journalist Mandeep Punia gets bail
Independent journalist Mandeep Punia, arrested on charges of misconduct with a police officer on the Singhu border, has been granted bail by the Rohini district court on Tuesday.
