Roorkee / Mangalore. Farmers have been gearing up for the mahapanchayat of farmers to be held in Mangalore Gur Mandi of Haridwar district today. Apart from Naresh Tikait, the national president of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, the big leaders of the union will come to Mangalore to join the mahapanchayat. At the same time, farmer leaders inspected the Mahapanchayat site in Mangalore. BKU leaders have announced that no political party leader will be given a place on the stage. Nor will this mahapanchayat be allowed to become the platform of political parties, only the farmers will sit on the platform.
On Tuesday, a meeting of villagers was held in various villages of the area regarding the Mahapanchayat. In a meeting held on behalf of Uttarakhand Kisan Morcha in Belda, Belari and Safarpur villages, the National President of Morcha Gulshan Road said that the government is not ready to listen to the farmers. There is a conspiracy to divide the farmer in the name of religion and caste. But, this plot will never be allowed to succeed. He said that farmers of all fraternity will come together from all the villages in the Mahapanchayat to be held in Mangalore Mandi. No one will be given a chance to do politics about the farmers’ movement.
This battle is that of the farmer and the farmer is fully capable of fighting his own battle. He said that now a cross-border battle will be fought against the government. On the proposed Mahapanchayat site in Mangalore Good Mandi, State General Secretary Ravi Chaudhary, District President Vijay Shastri, Farmer Leader Padam Singh Bhati, Gulshan Road, Rampal Singh etc. inspected the arrangements. Farmer leaders said that the mahapanchayat will take place in a peaceful manner. Administration should not attempt to stop the farmers coming to the Mahapanchayat. The mahapanchayat will take place under any circumstances.

Naqi Tikait, the national president of Bhakiyu, is coming after a long time to the mahapanchayat to be held in Mangalore Mandi. Before this, the late Chaukri supremo Mahendra Singh Tikait used to come among the farmers during the mahapanchayat and agitation in Mangalore Mandi and Roorkee many times. However, BKU national spokesperson Rakesh Tikait continues to visit Roorkee and Mangalore. He is often among the farmers.
