new Delhi. The stock market has touched record levels in early trade. The Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex has reached a record level of 46,599.02. At the same time, the Nifty also reached a high of 13,666.45 during trading.
Today, the third trading day of the week i.e. Wednesday, the stock market opened on the edge. The Bombay Stock Exchange’s flagship index Sensex opened up 288.89 points at 46552.06. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange Nifty started with a gain of 83.50 points at 13651.40. The stock market closed marginally higher on Tuesday. The Sensex closed up 9.71 points at 46263.17. The Nifty closed at the level of 13567.85 with a gain of 9.70 points.
The Sensex opened down 173.90 points at 46079.56 on the previous trading day on weak global cues. At the same time, the Nifty started with a decline of 45.40 points at the level of 13512.80.
Among today’s major stocks, shares of all companies opened on the green mark except Hindustan Unilever. The top gainers include M&M, UPLS Bajaj Finance, ONGC and Tata Motors.
