TURBURY Another member of the Pakistan cricket team on a tour of New Zealand has been found positive in the Corona virus test. Thus, 8 members of the Pakistan team have so far been found infected with the Corona virus in New Zealand. The New Zealand Health Ministry on Wednesday informed that the total number of corona infections of Pakistan team members has increased to eight. This new case has been confirmed in Canterbury.
The name of the positive person has not been made public in the ministry’s statement. The statement said that the team is still not allowed to train. Players of Pakistan team cannot get down to practice until Canterbury’s health officials are satisfied with it. The New Zealand Ministry of Health believes that training can increase the scope of infection.
The two members found to be infected with COVID-19 do not have any type of problem. On the other hand, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that those players have been kept in isolation, which have been found negative. The PCB has not identified the players who came positive and said that after coming negative all these people will be able to train in managed isolation. Now on Sunday, all members will have a corona test, in which the picture will be more clear.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has said in its statement, “PCB is in close contact with the Pakistan team management in New Zealand and is monitoring their return to the training process. The management and players fully support the process and the New Zealand Government rules Are eager to get back on the field. ” Significantly, 6 members of the Pakistan cricket team were found infected with the Corona virus on the same day.
