Mumbai . While objecting to the alleged remarks of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the protests of farmers near Delhi, Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi said on Tuesday that Trudeau should not do politics by “using India’s internal affairs”. Rajya Sabha member Chaturvedi tweeted, “Dear Justin Trudeau, I appreciate your concern but India’s internal matter is not a choice for any other nation’s politics. Please exercise courtesy to show respect to other countries. I request Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resolve this issue before other countries give their opinion. ”
Earlier on Tuesday, Trudeau released a video on Facebook on the occasion of Guruparv saying, “If I do not take cognizance of the news of the protests by the farmers in India, it would be considered to ignore the case.” The situation is worrying and we are all worried about families and friends. ” He had said, “I remind you, Canada is always in support of peaceful protests. We believe in the importance of dialogue and that is why we have conveyed our concern to the Indian authorities. ” Demonstration of farmers has been going on for six days on the borders of Delhi in protest against the new agricultural laws.
