After spending a week in jail in judicial custody and getting bail from the Supreme Court again, journalist Arnab Goswami, who reached the newsroom again, attacked Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray for arresting him in a “fake” case. Goswami (47), surrounded by her colleagues in Republic Channel, said, Uddhav Thackeray, listen to me. You lost He also slammed Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh over his “illegal” arrest in the 2018 case for allegedly abetting an interior designer to commit suicide.
Goswami said that police used to do three rounds of questioning in Taloja jail. He said, Uddhav Thackeray you arrested me in an old, fake case, and did not even apologize to me. The journalist said, the game has started now. Goswami said that he would start Republic TV in Hara and he also has a presence in international media. Expressing his apprehension of being arrested again, Goswami said, “I will also start (channel) from inside the jail, and you (Thackeray) will not be able to do anything.” Goswami thanked the apex court for granting interim bail.
