Lucknow. Sunday was the last day of registration for admission to medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Nearly 18 thousand candidates have applied for admission to MBBS course under NEET UG Counseling 2020-21. Candidates who register online will be able to fill online choices by Tuesday to choose their favorite college. They will be allotted seats on the basis of Choice and Merit. The result of seat allocation will be released on 11 November. From November 12, candidates will be able to download the seat allocation letter. By November 18, candidates will be able to enroll in the allotted college. This time 1178 seats have been increased in 22 government medical colleges and 29 private medical colleges. Now the seats have increased to 7,078.
Please tell that fees for the academic session 2020-21 have been fixed in 24 private medical and 19 dental colleges in Uttar Pradesh. An annual fee has been fixed for the MBBS course from a minimum of Rs 10.40 lakh to a maximum of Rs 12.72 lakh. At the same time, the fee for BDS course has been fixed from minimum Rs 2.93 lakh to maximum Rs 3.65 lakh annually. The fee rules committee has increased the fee from 10 percent to 20 percent this time. Considering the resources of private colleges, their expenses and inflation, the committee has fixed the fees.
Along with the education of MBBS and BDS courses students, hostels, security deposits and development fees and other fees will also have to be paid separately. MBBS students will have to pay Rs 1.75 lakh for AC room in hostels, Rs 1.50 lakh for non-SC rooms, Rs 3 lakh security deposit and Rs 80 thousand miscellaneous fee. At the same time, BDS students will have to pay 1.05 lakh of AC room, Rs 85 thousand annual fee of non AC room, Rs 3 lakh security deposit and Rs 40 thousand miscellaneous fee in hostels. The security deposit will be returned later.
