Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli and Abraham de Villiers have become the first pair to have a 10-century partnership in the IPL. Both these batsmen added 100 runs from 47 balls in the match being played against Kolkata Knight Riders at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Kohli and Chris Gayle have nine century partnerships for Bangalore. Shikhar Dhawan and David Warner have six century partnerships playing together for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Apart from this, Kohli and de Villiers have also become the first pair to score 3000 runs as partners in IPL history. Kohli and Gayle have scored 2,782 runs while Dhawan and Warner have scored 2,357 runs.
De Villiers shared an unbeaten 73 off 33 balls in this match. Kohli scored 33 runs.
