Patna . The last rites of the former Union Minister and founder of Lok Janshakti Party, Ram Vilas Paswan, will be held with state honors today at Jarnadan Ghat in Digha, capital Patna on October 10, Saturday at around 1.30pm. From eight o’clock on Saturday morning, his popular leader’s last darshan at his private residence in Srikrishnapuri, Patna was thronged by people. From here in the afternoon his last journey will start for Janardhan Ghat of Digha.
Earlier, his body was brought from Delhi to Patna at 7.30 pm on Friday evening by a special aircraft of the Air Force. Chirag Paswan wept bitterly while paying tribute at Patna Airport. Everyone present there was moistened. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also could not control his feelings while paying homage at the State Hangar and his eyes were blushed. There, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai, Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav paid tributes to him. After this, Paswan’s body was kept in the LJP office for a final visit.
President and Prime Minister paid tribute
Earlier, many Union ministers including President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda visited his residence at 12 Janpath in New Delhi on Friday to pay homage to Paswan. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tied his hand with Chirag Paswan’s shoulder. 74-year-old Ram Vilas Paswan died on Thursday. He was ill for a long time.
A wave of condolences
Paswan’s body was brought to the LJP office from Patna Airport, where LJP leaders and activists, including his relatives and relatives, paid floral tributes. Paswan’s wife Reena Paswan, son Chirag Paswan, nephew Prince Raj and Union Law and Information and Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad were present on the occasion.
Half flag bowing in honor of Paswan
National Guardian and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan died on 8 October. After which, in his honor, the national flag was half-bowed at various buildings in the capital today.
The flag was half tilted in Paswan’s honor at the behest of the Cabinet Secretariat. The department has said in order that the national flag will remain half-tilted on the day of the funeral where the former Union Minister will be cremated. The Cabinet Secretariat has issued orders in this regard.

The unbroken relationship of the last 45 years and all the social, political battles fought together are floating in the eyes. It is known that Lalu had a close relationship with Paswan. Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad recalled him saying that Ram Vilas Paswan worked with the six p.m. Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that he had no enemy, despite differences. BJP spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said that he was a leader of social justice. He gave life to connect the society.
