Whereas Congress wants at least 70 seats, Male also demands 17 seats. It is being told that RJD can contest 150 seats. 70 seats can be given to Congress and remaining seats to Left parties. RJD will also field half a dozen candidates of the developing INSAN Party (VIP) on its symbol.
Congress is not in the mood to take any risk
Congress is not in a mood to take any risk in this election. In the last Lok Sabha elections, only nine were promised Congress 18 seats. Then the RJD’s promise to give the Congress a Rajya Sabha seat was also not fulfilled. The Congress wants a compromise on respectable seats. By the way, he seems unlikely to leave the Grand Alliance. Both the RJD and the Congress suffer from this.
