A committee has been formed for realizing the new slogan, which has to submit its report in 15 days.
Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said, “Due to the situation created by the Kovid epidemic, many students who want to study abroad have decided to stay in India. Many students who are studying abroad They want to come to India. The ministry should make all efforts to meet their needs keeping in mind both types of students. ”
Keeping in mind the needs of students who want to go abroad, decisions have been taken to take such steps and provide opportunities under which they can be stopped in India. For this, the Ministry is preparing to give them a chance to study in the best institutions in India. At the same time, preparations are being made to help such students studying abroad who want to return to India to complete their program.
A committee has to be formed for this, headed by DP Singh, chairman of UGC. The committee has to prepare a guideline to prevent more and more students in India. Its way is also to show how the number of students in good universities can be increased. In addition, ways to start multi-disciplinary and innovative programs will also be found.
These efforts will also look at twinning and joint degree programs, cross country designing centers, online lectures by renowned teachers abroad, linking academia and business, starting joint degree ventures and giving lateral entry to Indian higher institutions. . Under these decisions, AICTE Chairman Anil Sahasrabuddhe will work on issues related to technical institutions.
A separate sub-committee of Vice-Chancellors of IITs, NITs, IIITs, Council of Architecture and Central Universities is to be formed. These committees will assist the chairman of UGC and AICTE. National Testing Agency (NTA) chairman and CBSE chairman can also be consulted on the basis of their experience in education.
