New Delhi: LJP leader Chirag Paswan has written a letter to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar raising the matter of the disappearance of a corona-infected patient. In fact, Ranjit Kumar, a resident of Sheikhpura area of Jamui, Lok Sabha constituency of Chirag, was getting cancer treatment in Mumbai since last 6 months. On June 25, Mahavir Cancer Institute had taken a checkup where his corona infection was examined and his report came back positive. After that Ranjith was kept at the Sheikhpura isolation center. But she was referred to Patna NMCH from Sheikhpura Isolation Center. After which he was admitted to NMCH Hospital on 3 July 2020.
According to the letter written by Chirag, on July 6, when his family went to visit him, Ranjit Kumar was not present there. His family has since been circling the hospital.
Ranjith’s wife Anita is fighting the state government and hospital administration to get her husband. Chirag has taken detailed information about the matter from DMCH Sheikhupura, Superintendent of PMCH and Anita has also put the matter in front of everyone. But the family does not see any help from the government. This incident raises a big question on the hospital administration where the patient has disappeared. The family alleges that Ranjith has died, which the hospital is hiding for fear of increasing figures. In this letter, Chirag appealed to the Chief Minister to investigate the matter.
