Lucknow. The youths detained from Sambhal on Saturday on charges of plotting to attack military bases have revealed many secrets. During interrogation by ATS, the youths have informed that they were in contact with their masters through various platforms of internet media. Two of their handlers used to come to meet them from Delhi.
These youths used to send messages to their masters through internet media through Al-Maut-ul-Hind group formed on Signal as well as WhatsApp, Instagram and Discord. Messages related to involvement in anti-national activities were sent to them through a group called Green Birds on Instagram and Strangers on Discord.
ATS is interrogating the youths
ATS sources said that a case has been registered in this matter and one youth is being interrogated, while two youths are minors. Many more information has been received from their mobiles.
On Saturday night, the ATS team detained three youths from Bihar from Khwas Sarai and Hindupur Kheda in Sambhal on charges of being involved in terrorist activities. Based on the information received from them during interrogation, the ATS team also searched several internet media accounts on Sunday.
ATS is collecting information about handlers
Raids have also been conducted at some places, but ATS is still keeping the information secret. The detained youths were also given online training to use various types of weapons. These youths were being prepared to attack the military bases of India and Israel.
ATS teams are collecting information about the handlers who come to meet these youths by extracting footage from several CCTV cameras in Sambhal.
