Sambhal. On the occasion of Holi, the administration has started efforts to ensure that the religious places of other sects do not get splashed with colours. On Wednesday, the administration started covering the rear portion of Jama Masjid and also started covering other mosques with tarpaulin, so that any kind of dispute does not arise.
The district administration’s preparations for Holi are complete
Holi will be celebrated on Friday, and efforts have been started by the police administration to ensure that it is celebrated in an atmosphere of peace and harmony.
During these efforts, the police has also worked to secure the religious places of other sects located on the route of the Chaupai procession to be taken out on the occasion of Holi, in which the administration has started the work of covering the mosques of the religious places of other sects located on the procession route with tarpaulin.
The mosque was covered with tarpaulin
On Wednesday evening, the police administration started the work of covering the rear portion of Jama Masjid located in Mohalla Kot Purvi of the city with tarpaulin. ASP Shrishchandra, CO Anuj Chaudhary and Kotwali in-charge Inspector Anuj Kumar Tomar reached the rear side of Jama Masjid with the team.
10 more mosques will be covered with tarpaulin
The work of covering the entire wall with tarpaulin from the stairs leading to Jama Masjid from the rear side has been started. Along with this, about 10 other mosques located on the Chaupai procession route will also be covered with tarpaulin. ASP Shrishchandra said that like before, religious places of other sects are being covered. All mosques will be covered by Thursday.
