In the very first year of the scheme, we got one lakh marriages done.

He had come to bless the newlyweds in the mass marriage of 1001 couples on the last day of the Jaunpur Mahotsav organized at the royal fort on Wednesday. He further said that the amount of Rs 35 thousand received under the scheme will now become Rs 1 lakh from April 1. Apart from this, the government will also give scooties to meritorious daughters.
He said that this mass program of 1001 couples gives a new height to the Prime Minister’s sentiment of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’. This double engine government under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi is working without any discrimination. Expressing happiness over Jaunpur’s Imarti getting GI tag, he said that wherever you go, take Imarti from here as a gift.
Employment zone will be built in every district
The CM said that in order to generate employment for the youth, an employment zone will be built in 100 acres in the name of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in every district. Skill development work will be done in this. He said that in the morning session, 1,890 crore rupees of subsidy was given to 1.86 lakh Ujjwala Yojana connection holders in the state.
Our government has waived electricity bills worth one crore 56 lakh. In the last eight years, six crore people have been raised above the poverty line. Along with building houses for 56 lakh poor, food grains were delivered to 15 crore poor.
The Chief Minister said that Jaunpur is a center of education. The followers of religion are being guided by Jagatguru Swami Rambhadracharya of this place. Raja Yadavendra Dutt Dubey, Balidani Umanath Singh, Dr. Lalji Singh and Kirti Singh have also increased the fame of the district. The Chief Minister also assured to make Jaunpur a smart city. The government does not have shortage of money for the development of this place, the need is to make good use of the budget.
