The police have recovered the priceless idols stolen from the temple in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh. The police have also arrested three accused of stealing the idols. Three idols and a large number of bells and two motorcycles used in the incident have also been recovered from the accused. After arresting the accused, the police have disclosed the incident. However, after the disclosure, the police have taken action to send all three accused to jail. On the other hand, the devotees associated with the Lord are hailing the police and the Lord after the return of the Lord.
The idols of Lord Shri Ram, Mata Sita and Anuj Laxman were stolen from Thakurdwara temple located in Baraulia village of Sandi police station area of Hardoi district. The idols are made of ashtadhatu as well as diamond studded. After the theft incident, there was a lot of anger among the regional devotees about this theft. The police formed several teams and started investigating the whole matter. The police team including the forensic team under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Neeraj Jadoun started searching for the accused. After a lot of hard work, the police have arrested three accused of theft.
Among the accused, Sharad Kumar, a contractor of the Minor Irrigation Department, has also been arrested. After suffering a loss of crores in contracting, he had planned to steal the deity itself. In this, his two associates named Garuda and Shivjeet had helped him in the incident. After the disclosure, the police have recovered the three stolen idols of the deity and 25 brass bells and two motorcycles used in the incident.
Slogans of Zindabad raised after the idols were found
After receiving the information about the recovery of priceless idols of diamond-studded Ashtadhatu in Sandi police station area of Hardoi, a crowd of devotees gathered in the police station. Along with the darshan of the idols, the devotees started raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram as well as Police Administration Zindabad. However, the accused had committed the theft due to the unexpected price of these unique idols in the international market, which the police has revealed in a short time.
Accused arrested, sent to jail
Hardoi Superintendent of Police Neeraj Jadoun said that after a lot of hard work, the three stolen idols, throne, bells, two bikes used in the incident and three accused have been arrested. After the disclosure, action has been taken to send the accused to jail.
Gods have been stolen before as well
The ashtadhatu idol of Lord Venkatesh has been stolen from Thakurdwara temple of Gausganj in Kasimpur police station area of Hardoi in the past. No clue has been found so far. Now after this disclosure, the devotees of the temple have also got hope of meeting the Lord.
