Ghaziabad: A truck loaded with gas cylinders caught fire at Bhopura Chowk Delhi Wazirabad Road in Teela Mod area of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, around 5 am on Saturday. Cylinders are bursting intermittently with loud explosions. Residents of the area have come out of their houses out of fear and have reached a safe place on the road. The fire brigade team is engaged in extinguishing the fire.
CFO Rahul Kumar said that a truck loaded with gas cylinders caught fire at Bhopura Chowk on Delhi Wazirabad Road in Teela Mod police station area. Fire department officials and employees are on the spot, but due to the explosion, the fire department employees are facing difficulty in extinguishing the fire.
The sound of the cylinder explosion can be heard for several kilometers around. It can be clearly seen in the video that there is a fierce fire in the truck and cylinders are bursting intermittently. People from nearby areas are reaching a safe place. The reason for the fire is not yet known. There is no report of any casualties yet.
There is an atmosphere of fear among the people due to the intermittent blasts in the gas cylinders. Local people are leaving their homes. Smoke has spread in the entire area. This is also causing difficulty in breathing.
