No one has control over love. It can happen to anyone at any time. Nowadays you must have heard many such cases where a girl married a girl and a boy married a boy. A similar case has also come to light from Mathura in UP. Here a girl who fell in love with her friend changed her gender. Now she has left her old identity and has become Lalit. Both of them ran away and got married in the Arya Samaj temple and are living together.
This matter came to light when Jaipur Police reached Mahavan in Mathura in search of a girl named Pooja. Police took Pooja back to Jaipur after which this love story was revealed. 31-year-old Savita is a resident of Bharatpur. She had come to Jaipur for SSC coaching. She started living on rent in the house of a person named Ramesh in Sanganer police station area. Ramesh’s daughter was of her age due to which both of them became friends and after some time both came close to each other.
Savita became Lalit after changing her gender
After the coaching was over, Savita returned to Bharatpur, but the two continued to meet. Over time, their friendship turned into love. Both vowed to live and die together and decided to become life partners. To overcome the restrictions of society, Savita took a big step and changed her gender to become Lalit. After this, both started living together as husband and wife. However, when the police reached there in search of Pooja, this unique love story came to light.
Married in Arya Samaj Vedic Institute
For Pooja, Savita changed her gender on 31 May 2022 in Indore and became Lalit Singh from Savita. After this, Savita and Pooja got married in Arya Samaj Vedic Institute Mandal in Jaipur in November 2024. Pooja had kept this secret hidden from her family. Meanwhile, Pooja’s father fixed her marriage with a boy. But to avoid marriage, Pooja told her father that she was going to Bharatpur to do B.Ed. On January 10, Pooja reached Bharatpur and switched off her mobile. The family tried hard to find their daughter but they could not find anything.
This is how the whole case was revealed
The family registered a missing person report of Pooja in Sanganer police station of Jaipur on January 14. The police tracked the mobile location, which was found in Mahavan police station area of Mathura. On Friday, Jaipur police raided Mahavan and caught Pooja and Lalit. During interrogation, Lalit told that he works in a pharmacy college in Mahavan and Pooja is living with him as his wife. Pooja clearly told the police that she wants to live with Lalit. Jaipur police took Pooja with them and revealed the case under the leadership of Sub Inspector Babu Lal. Both are adults, so the police has released them for now.
