Meerut. Two miscreants looted the house of a teacher couple in Shivalik Homes in broad daylight. The 15-year-old daughter present in the house was held hostage and beaten up. The miscreants broke the lock of the safe and fled with jewellery worth 40 lakhs, cash worth 20 thousand and the papers of the flat.
When the girl protested, they hit her on the head with a pistol and left her bleeding. After locking her inside the house, the miscreants fled. After getting the information, the police team reached the spot and started searching for the miscreants. The miscreants entered the colony posing as geyser mechanics, and asked the teacher’s daughter to open the gate to ask for money from the teacher’s house.

Ravindra Agarwal’s family lives in flat number 71 on the first floor of Shivalik Homes in the Medical Police Station area. Ravindra Agarwal is a teacher in PBAS Inter College in Modinagar. His wife Vandana Agarwal is a teacher in DAV L Block. His only daughter is Ananya Agarwal, who studies in class 10 in MPGS Shastrinagar branch.
On Friday, the director of MPGS school, Tarachand Shastri, passed away. Therefore, the school was closed. Ravindra Agarwal and Vandana Agarwal went to school as usual. Ananya was alone at home because it was a holiday.
At 11:32 in the morning, two youths entered the colony with their faces covered with cloth. They introduced themselves as geyser mechanics. After that, they reached the teacher’s house. They asked for a key from her daughter. Ananya refused to give the key. After that, both the miscreants returned.
They came back again and attacked and looted
They came back again in a few minutes. They said that your neighbor Rakesh’s geyser is not working. Give me the small key. Then Ananya opened the gate. After that, the miscreants caught Ananya. When she shouted, they gagged her mouth. Also, they hit her on the head with the butt of the pistol. After that, one of the goons overpowered Ananya, while the other opened the safe in the bedroom. The locker key was kept inside the safe. The goons opened the locker and took out jewellery worth 40 lakhs. They also took 20 thousand rupees in cash and the papers of the flat. After carrying out the robbery in about ten minutes, they locked Ananya in the bedroom. After that, they held the door from outside and waited for two minutes. Then they left from there. After about five minutes, Ananya, who was terrified, opened the gate and reached the house of her neighbour Rashmi, wife of Aditya, who lived on the second floor, and informed her. Then Rashmi told her parents about the incident. Rakesh, who lived on the ground floor, was also informed about the matter. He informed the medical police about the incident. Immediately CO Navina Shukla, CO Abhishek Tiwari and medical police reached the spot. After that, the crime branch was also called. The goons were searched through the nearby CCTV. The miscreants entered the house on the pretext of a staircase and looted the girl by hitting her on the head with a pistol. Three police teams have been formed to search for the miscreants. The miscreants have been captured in the nearby CCTV. Soon the miscreants will be caught and exposed.
