Japanese delegation led by Mr. Yasuhiro Sensho, MD Sensho Gumi, Dr. Samuel JK Abraham, Mr. Kenji Shibuya, CEO Medical Excellence Japan (MEJ) and Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) and Ms. Sanae Sakurai, Executive Officer, with his team visited YEIDA Administrative office on 09-01-2025. The main purpose of this visit to understand Medical Device Park project, the investment, manufacturers and other land details in YEIDA.
Dr. G.N. Singh (Advisor to CM), Shri Shailendra Bhatia (OSD, YEIDA), Shri Praveen Mittal (Executive Director of Export Promotion Council of Medical Device Park), Mr. Rajendra Bhati, GM Project, Dr. Smita Singh, AGM- Industry and other senior officials from YEIDA attended the meeting in YEIDA’s board room.
Meeting started with YEIDA’s presentation on Medical Device Park, presented by Shri Shailendra Bhatia (OSD) and ) Shri Praveen Mittal focusing on YEIDA’s location advantages, MDP-FDI policy, MDP incentives, etc.
Second presentation was presented by Japanese delegation’s CEO of Medical Excellence Japan (MEJ) and Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA).
During the meeting, Japanese delegations showed interest of signing MOUs for:
Medical Devices and Technology Park with YEIDA.
To Promote Pharma Research and Innovations with Department of Healthcare Uttar Pradesh.
Healthcare and Medical Tourism with Invest UP.
After the successful presentation, YEIDA’s senior officials, Dr. G.N Singh and Japanese delegations then proceeded for the site visit of YEIDA’s Medical Device Park in Sector 28, YEIDA.
