Meerut. On Thursday, amidst the cold and chilly winds, five murders in Suhail Garden heated up the atmosphere of the city. A tile stone artisan, his wife and three innocent daughters were brutally murdered by slitting their throats with a stone cutting machine. The murderers cut all five with the machine in a barbaric manner.
After cutting the neck of the stone artisan, he was tied in a bundle and thrown out of the room, while after killing his wife and three innocent daughters, they were put in a box made in the bed. After the murder, the criminals locked the main gate of the house and fled.
When the brother of the deceased broke the lock on the gate of the house suspecting it to be locked for several days, the murders were discovered. The information of five murders created a stir in the district police.
The police reached the spot and investigated the scene of the incident. Nearby CCTV footage is being checked. The five murders have created a sensation in the Lisadi Gate area and the city.
Moin used to work on contract
35-year-old Moin, son of Naseer, a resident of Roorkee, works as a mason as well as a tile and stone mason. He used to work on contract. Moin used to live on rent in Sajid’s house in Suhail Garden. He works as a stone mason nearby. Moin lived with his wife 32-year-old Aasman, 9-year-old daughter Aksa, two-year-old Azeezah and one-year-old Aleena in a one-room house.
Brother opened the door on suspicion
Moin’s brother Amjad said that the main gate of Moin’s house was locked for several days. They thought he had gone out somewhere. On Thursday morning, Amjad’s wife Nazarana reached Moin’s house. Seeing the lock closed, she called on his mobile, but the phone was not answered. She returned.
After going home, she called several times, but did not talk. Then the phone started ringing off. On suspicion, she reached Moin’s house with her husband and others. When the lock was broken and the door was opened, blood was spread all around.
A stone cutting machine stained with blood was found
Moin’s body was lying tied in a bundle in the veranda. When we went inside, Asma and the three girls were lying in a bloody state in the bed box. All their throats were slit. Blood was spilled on the floor. There were blood splatters on the walls as well. A stone cutting machine stained with blood was lying a little distance away from Moin. It is believed that all their throats were slit with this.
On receiving the information, Lisadi Gate Inspector Subhash Gautam reached the spot. He informed the officials. There was a stir due to the five murders. A crowd of thousands of people has gathered at the spot.
ADG DK Thakur, DIG Kalanidhi Naithani, SSP Dr. Vipin Tada and SP City are at the spot and are investigating the entire case. The family members are being questioned and the CCTV footage of the surrounding area is being examined.
