The driver of the son of Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Omprakash Rajbhar has been arrested on charges of theft from his house. Police said that the driver has stolen several lakh rupees from the house of minister Omprakash Rajbhar. According to information received from the police, Ramjeet Rajbhar, a resident of village Paharpur in Tanda Kotwali area, drives the car of Arvind Rajbhar, son of state government minister Omprakash Rajbhar.
According to Ramjeet’s family, on the morning of October 5, the policemen first came on a motorcycle and then came in a four-wheeler. There was also a white Innova car on which a stick mark was made. The family said that the police first asked whether this was Ramjeet’s house. After this, they took Ramjeet in the car.
Investigation is being done while maintaining secrecy in the matter
Ramjeet’s family said that the police again brought Ramjeet and searched the entire house. Due to the matter being high profile, the police is investigating the matter while maintaining secrecy. According to the information, the police has also recovered the stolen money. It is being told that Ramjit was in contact with Omprakash Rajbhar for a long time. Earlier he used to drive his car and now he drives his son’s car.
Police took money in a bag
Ramjit’s wife Geeta told that Ramjit also used to drive Omprakash Rajbhar’s son Arvind Rajbhar’s car. He came home on the day of Dhanteras before Diwali. Police has arrested him and taken him away this morning. It is a matter of some money. Minister Omprakash Rajbhar’s car also came with the police. Geeta told that police has taken money in a big polythene bag. Ramjit Rajbhar’s wife alleges that police scattered all the wheat and rice kept in the house, threw away the stuff kept in the box. Police has also threatened them. Police is also silent on this matter. Tanda Kotwal Deepak Singh Raghuvanshi told that Ramjit Rajbhar has been brought for questioning.
