Three to four unidentified miscreants pelted stones and fired on a school bus in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. More than two dozen children were travelling in the school bus during the incident. The children were terrified due to the firing and stone pelting on the bus. Taking this incident seriously, many senior officers of the district reached the spot after getting the information and instructed to search for the accused. But the accused were not caught by the police. After the incident, there was constant pressure on the police to arrest the accused.
Actually, like every day, school bus driver Monty had gone to pick up children from Nagla Mafi village on the day of the incident. During this time, more than two dozen children were travelling in the bus. When bus driver Monty was reversing the bus, he had an argument with Manit, a resident of Nagla Mafi. However, some people present on the spot convinced both of them and sent them away from the spot. But since then, Manit was trying to teach a lesson to bus driver Monty. Manit told his friend Aditya about the incident and prepared a plan to teach a lesson to bus driver Monty. Aditya contacted Aryan Sharma, Nitin regarding this incident and then carried out this incident on 25 October.
Pistol recovered from the accused
Superintendent of Police Kunwar Anupam formed 15 police teams along with SOG and surveillance team to uncover the incident and started the search for the accused. During this, the police identified the four accused after scanning 300 hours of recording with the help of 150 CCTV cameras and then arrested three accused after an encounter. During the arrest, the police recovered two illegal pistols and the motorcycle used in the incident from the accused.
Three accused arrested
Superintendent of Police Kunwar Anupam said that a week ago on 25 October, four accused carried out the incident of stone pelting and firing on the bus of SRS International School located in Gajraula police station area. Taking action in connection with the incident, the police arrested three accused during the encounter. The arrested accused have been identified as Manit, resident of village Nangla Mafi of police station Gajraula area, Aryan Sharma, resident of Vijay Nagar Mohalla of police station Mandi Dhanaura area and Nitin, resident of Hewatpur Chaudhariyan Mohalla. Action has been taken against them and they have been sent to jail while the absconding fourth accused Aditya has been said to be arrested soon.
