A sensational case has come to light from Belipar in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Here, the lover of a married woman was brutally murdered. The girl’s father has been accused. The married woman was being taken away by her lover repeatedly. Her father got upset repeatedly due to the daughter’s departure. One day the father caught the daughter’s lover and killed him by cutting him with an axe. The body was thrown among the bushes located on the border of Bansgaon-Uruwa police station area. After receiving information about this, the police registered a case against 10 known and three unknown people and arrested four people. Also, the Bolero vehicle and axe involved in the incident were taken into their possession.
Jayesh Nishad was a resident of Budhha village of Chandauli in Belipar. In the 2022 Panchayat elections, he was campaigning for Pradhan candidate Santosh. Akhilesh Singh was in the fray against him. One day Jayesh had a quarrel with Akhilesh Singh and he fired from a pistol. The pellets hit Akhilesh Singh’s neck and chest. His cousin Rakesh had filed a case against Jayesh. The police had taken gangster action against Jayesh, his father and Santosh in that case. Akhilesh Singh’s family had enmity with Jayesh regarding that matter.
On the other hand, Jayesh was in a love affair with the daughter of Suryanath Yadav, a resident of the village. Suryanath’s family also had enmity with Jayesh regarding this matter. Jayesh’s mother Salhanta Devi told the police that both Akhilesh and Suryanath had joined hands to remove our son from the way. Jayesh’s father Ram Hajur and younger brother, residents of Chandauli Bujurg, work in Hyderabad. Salhanta Devi and Jayesh lived in the village. During this time, Jayesh fell in love with a girl from the village.
They were residents of the same village
Both lovers were from the same village and two castes. In such a situation, when the village started getting defamed, the father got his daughter married on 26 February 2024 in a village in Khajni. The girl’s father Suryanath Yadav told that he works in Rajkot. After getting his daughter married, he went back to his work. Meanwhile, on August 2, I got to know that his daughter had disappeared from her in-laws’ house. My Samadhi registered a missing person’s case in Khajni police station, but the very next day, on August 3, my daughter returned to her in-laws’ house.
There was a fight with in-laws
After staying there for a few days, she had a quarrel with her in-laws and she came to her parents’ house on August 5. Due to such incidents, I suspected that Jayesh had a hand in this case, so I returned to the village from Rajkot on August 7. On August 23, my wife was going to the village with my daughter, during which Jayesh pushed my wife and ran away with the daughter. In this case too, a kidnapping case was registered against Jayesh, but the daughter had not been found yet. This is how I came to know that Jayesh married my daughter in a temple and lives there in a room in the city. Not only this, he had also given an application in the court that both of us are adults and have got married in the temple. In such a situation, the kidnapping case registered against me should be closed.
He would get angry on seeing the photo of his daughter
Suryanath Yadav told the police that during this time Jayesh used to post his photo with my daughter on social media, seeing which my blood would boil. Yesterday we got information that Jayesh is sitting at a shop in Belipar town. On reaching there, we came to know that he has left for Bhiti road. On getting this information, we followed him in a Bolero car. After going some distance, we found him, then we caught him and attacked his head with an axe.
When he got injured, we loaded him in the car and took him away and got him down from the car near Turra drain located on the border of Bansgaon-Uruwa police station, he was still breathing. After that, we again attacked his head and neck, because I wanted to end this thorn in the path forever. When his body became completely calm, we threw him in the nearby bushes.
Identification done through CCTV footage
The police said that as soon as the information about the murder of the youth was received, the police of three police stations swung into action. The accused were identified through the vehicle number by taking out CCTV footage. In such a situation, when Suryanath Yadav was taken into custody and questioned, he told the whole incident in detail.
Pradeep called and said uncle revenge has been taken:- In the 2022 Panchayat elections, Jayesh had fired a pistol at Akhilesh Singh. Due to this, both Akhilesh Singh and Suryanath Yadav together killed my son. Jayesh’s mother Salhanta Devi told that after the incident, Akhilesh’s nephew Pradeep had also called and informed his uncle that uncle I have taken revenge, the person who fired at you and you got hit by a pellet, we have cut him with an axe. Salhanta Devi said that the people of the accused party are also threatening to kill me.
SP South Jitendra Kumar said that on the complaint of deceased Jayesh’s mother Salhanta Devi, a case has been registered against Suryanath Yadav, Akhilesh Singh, Rampravesh, Nanhi, Pradeep Singh alias Pintu, Baijnath Yadav, Sangam Yadav, Aman Yadav, Somnath Yadav and three unknown persons. In this case, the police have arrested the main accused Suryanath, Somnath, Aman and Rampravesh and have seized the axe and Bolero vehicle used in the incident.
