Sultanpur. Police in UP’s Sultanpur has arrested three accused involved in the murder of a girl in an encounter. In the encounter in Akhand Nagar area, all three accused were shot in their legs. Police admitted all three in the hospital in injured condition. SP Somen Burma said that while chasing the accused, these three accused opened fire on the police. In retaliation, all three accused were shot, who have been arrested and sent to the hospital for first aid.
The body of an unknown woman was found in Gosaiganj police station area on September 21. The post-mortem revealed that the woman was murdered by strangulation. After identification, it was found that the woman’s name was Priyanka. Her missing report was filed in Kadipur police station on September 1.
Priyanka was pressurizing Salman for marriage
Evidence collection revealed that four people were involved in Priyanka’s murder, whose names are Salman, Shahenshah, Sarwar and Javed. Priyanka knew Salman from a long time, she had gone to Mumbai with him. On returning, the police recorded her statement, after that she again reached Salman in Gosaiganj police station area without informing anyone, where the other three accused helped Salman with accommodation and other resources.
Salman committed the murder along with three companions
Priyanka had a dispute with Salman regarding marriage and she pressurized him saying that she will send all four of them to jail. After this, these four people together conspired to murder Priyanka and killed her on 20 September.
During the investigation, Shahenshah was arrested and based on the information of an informer, police teams were deployed to arrest the other three accused in Akhandnagar area on Tuesday. While chasing the accused, these three accused opened fire on the police. In retaliation, all the three accused were shot. They were arrested and sent to the hospital for first aid.
