The death of a person inside a police station in Etah, Uttar Pradesh has created a stir in the entire police department. There was a dispute between two people regarding money transactions, after which the police was informed. The police reached the spot and caught both the fighting youths and also took another as a witness and reached the police station. The family members allege that the three were not even given food at night. The next day morning, the witness whom the police had taken along, his health deteriorated. He was taken to the hospital but by then he had died.
According to the information, this entire matter is of Nidhauli police station of Etah district. Devendra Saini, a resident of Dalshahpur village, located about 10 kilometers from the police station, and his friend Hussain got into a fight late on Sunday evening. There was a fight between the two youths over money transactions, in which Hussain beat up Devendra. Devendra was injured in the attack, after which Devendra immediately informed the police. The police reached the spot and made Devendra and Hussain sit in the car and also took Rakesh along as a witness.
When the police reached the police station, Devendra Saini was medically examined and his family was informed. It was late at night, so the family members of the three did not reach the police station. The family members have alleged that food was not arranged for the three at night. The heat was also very high, there was a fan in the police station, which stopped working after the power went out. In such a situation, Rakesh had problems the whole night.
The brother of the deceased Rakesh told that the fight was between Devendra and Hussain, Rakesh was not at fault. Despite this, Rakesh was kept in the police station overnight. In the morning, Rakesh collapsed in the police station due to heat and hunger. When the policemen saw his condition, they immediately took him to the nearby health center. From there he was referred to the medical college. But, it was too late by then. Rakesh died there.
At the same time, the police also clarified the whole matter and said that the family members of Devendra and Rakesh did not come to the police station because it was late at night. Whereas the police had informed them at night itself. In the morning when the NCR was registered, Rakesh’s health suddenly deteriorated.
