Four people inside a car caught fire in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh and were burnt alive. All of them died. The fire was so fierce that no one in the car could get out. At present, after getting the information, the police team has reached the spot. According to the police, all the people in the car were going to Haridwar to take a bath in the Ganga.
According to SP Rural Kamlesh Bahadur Singh, the incident took place at around 9:30 pm on the Ganga Canal Kanwar Track Road. The car that caught fire was a Centro car. It had CNG installed in it. As soon as the police got the information, the police team reached the spot along with the fire brigade team. But by then the car was completely burnt.
What did the police say?
According to the police, after controlling the fire, four dead bodies have been recovered from the car. Looking at these bodies, it seems that there were three adults and 1 child in the car. The identity of the man and woman could not be ascertained. All the dead bodies have turned into skeletons. According to the police, all the people in the car were going to Haridwar to take a bath in the Ganga.
What did the fire brigade team say?
During this time, the police also found a gas cylinder in the car. The fire brigade team says that it is being speculated that the fire in the car might have been caused by leakage or blast in the cylinder. Meanwhile, police investigation has revealed that the car is in the name of Omprakash, son of Sohanpal of Delhi. At present, the police is trying to identify the people in the car on the basis of the car’s number plate.
